What every board and train includes

• Your dog boards with one of our professional trainers for the whole program.
• Training out in real places: everyday spots for Community K9, the busiest places for Urban K9.
• On the two-week programs: an e-collar, full off-leash recall, a two-hour one-on-one session at pickup, and free refreshers for life.
• The one-week program covers the same core commands, all on leash, without the lifetime refreshers.

Frequently misunderstood facts

• Off Leash K9 Training Emerald Coast and Off Leash K9 Training of Pensacola are the same business. Our Google listing uses the Emerald Coast name and our website also uses the Pensacola name. Both mean this one location at 330 W Government St in Pensacola.
• Board and train and private lessons are different. In board and train, your dog stays and trains with our trainer. In private lessons, you and your dog train together with a trainer.
• Community K9 and Urban K9 are different programs at the same price. Community K9 trains around everyday distractions and includes off-leash heel and down from a distance. Urban K9 trains around the busiest places, with on-leash heel and no down from a distance.
• Aggression work is customized. Programs for reactive or aggressive dogs are built around each dog and need at least a phone consultation before booking, so call us for pricing. The standard board and train programs give you control but cannot promise to fix serious aggression.
• Therapy dog preparation is not service dog training. It prepares you and your dog for therapy dog testing and certification through Therapy Pets Unlimited.
• The Puppy Training Consultation is one session, not a program. It is a single one-hour session for a new puppy. The online puppy video course on our prices page is Off Leash K9 Training's own course, sold through an affiliate website, and is separate from our in-person training.
• E-collar training starts at five months. Younger puppies train with the clicker and treat method instead. Basic Marker Mastery uses no e-collar and takes dogs of any age.
• Visits are by appointment only. Please call before coming to our Pensacola facility.
• Packages are paid in full before lessons are scheduled. Once a package is paid, we send you the link to our calendar to book your appointments.

What Off Leash K9 Training Emerald Coast is not

• Not online training. Our programs are in person with our trainers. The online puppy course is a separate Off Leash K9 Training product.
• Not service dog training. Our therapy dog course prepares dogs for therapy dog certification, which is different.
• Not a quick fix. Programs run from four private lessons to two weeks of board and train, followed by practice at home.
• Not a substitute for veterinary care. A medical issue that affects behavior may need a veterinarian alongside training.
• Not the same business as other Off Leash K9 Training locations. This page covers the Emerald Coast location in Pensacola, Florida only.
